Owen Campbell
Executive Director / Co-Owner
Read BioOwen has amassed several years of experience in the field. His own journey began at 18 years old when he faced the challenges of opioid addiction. At the age of 26, he sought addiction treatment in Prescott, Arizona, successfully overcoming his addiction and emerging as a source of inspiration for others.
Today, Owen serves as the Co-Owner and Executive Director of Mana Recovery, drawing upon his personal experience to empower individuals on their recovery journeys. Having encountered his own struggles, he possesses a deep understanding of the obstacles faced by those with limited resources. Owen’s primary focus is to provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to individuals seeking to overcome addiction and improve their lives.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Owen’s personal journey took a positive turn when he met his wife, Savana, a native of Maui, during their shared recovery process. They moved to Maui in 2022 and made a commitment to do all they could to enhance the recovery community on the island.
Owen’s unwavering dedication to helping individuals overcome addiction and achieve a fulfilling life continues to drive his work, as he remains passionate about making a lasting impact and offering hope to those in need.
Gregory Struve, MA, LPC
Administrative Director / Co-Owner
Read BioGreg Struve has dedicated his life to the field of trauma healing and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment. His own transformative experience in therapy propelled him to pursue a professional career in the area, driven by a deep desire to help others overcome their trauma and find healing.
In 2006, Greg earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from the Adler Graduate School. He completed his internship and went on to work as a family therapist at one of the top trauma treatment facilities in the world.
Greg’s commitment to his profession led him to join the faculty of Grand Canyon University in 2008, where he shared his expertise and mentored graduate students in the field of trauma treatment. He later joined the faculty at Rio Salado Community College.
In the years since Greg has served as clinical director and/or owner of several pioneering programs focused on innovative treatment approaches for anxiety and trauma. In 2015 he made several appearances on A&E’s acclaimed series “Intervention.”
Greg has completed over 500 hours of specialized training in Somatic Experiencing (SE) as both a student and teaching assistant. His dedication to ongoing professional development also led him to pursue coursework in the Neuro-Affective Relational Module, a systematic approach to healing developmental trauma. These trainings reflect his commitment to providing the most effective and evidence-based treatments to his clients, representing four-and-a-half years of post-graduate study in trauma resolution.
When not immersed in his professional endeavors, Greg finds joy and fulfillment in spending quality time with his loving wife Maria and their twin daughters. He also likes to snowboard.

She specializes in complex trauma treatment, anxiety disorders, substance addiction, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
Prior to working with Mana Carmen served as the Clinical Director at Akamai Recovery and Maui Recovery, overseeing teams of therapists and counselors responsible for providing care to inpatient clients.
Carmen obtained her MA in Clinical Psychology from New College of California in June 2006. Her commitment to ongoing professional development is reflected in her specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a therapeutic approach widely recognized for its effectiveness in trauma treatment.
Carmen’s expertise, dedication, and compassionate approach have made a significant impact on the lives of her clients and the community. Anne’s journey in the field of substance abuse counseling spans over two decades, making a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals. Her passion for helping others recover from addiction stems from a personal experience. Having battled with alcoholism and addiction, Anne is a recovering addict herself, celebrating nearly three decades of sobriety.
The revelation that she had a purpose in sharing a message of hope with those who still suffered inspired Anne to pursue a career in helping others overcome addiction. Her path to recovery was unexpected but transformative. While seeking medication one day, Anne ended up in the hospital and was subsequently admitted to the psychiatric ward. From there, she was sent to treatment on Maui, where she found compassionate support and the belief that a new life was possible.
Anne’s approach to recovery is grounded in 12-step programs, motivational interviewing, and an abstinence-based approach. She believes in meeting individuals where they are on their recovery journey and tailoring treatment to their unique needs.
In addition to her extensive qualifications, Anne holds a Master’s degree in Social Work, a Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations in Organizations, and an Associate’s degree in Human Services. Her educational achievements, coupled with her professional licenses and certifications, highlight her dedication to continuous learning and growth in her field.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys various interests and hobbies that bring her joy and fulfillment. She finds solace in practicing yoga, connecting with nature, and spending time with dogs and goats. Anne also values the power of laughter and its ability to bring lightness and positivity to life.

Stephen Fox, PhD, LSW

Having spent most of his life on the beautiful island of Maui, Eric has developed a profound understanding and respect for the local culture. His connection to the community drives his desire to serve as a bridge between those seeking recovery and the available resources, whether they are on the street or incarcerated.
Eric’s personal journey with addiction has deeply influenced his decision to make helping others recover his profession. He began experimenting with drugs at a young age and eventually found himself in a state of severe poly-drug abuse, facing legal troubles and experiencing complete dereliction. However, through residential treatment and the integration of the 12-Steps of Narcotics Anonymous into his daily life, Eric has been clean since October 15, 2019. This transformative experience has ignited his passion for sharing the peace and clarity that come with recovery, while spreading the message that anyone can break free from addiction and discover a new way to live.
Eric’s approach to recovery is guided by a combination of the 12-Steps, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and a deep understanding of the neurobiology of addiction. He believes in empowering individuals to develop the necessary tools and strategies to overcome challenges and build a fulfilling life in recovery.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Eric finds solace and joy in the water. He spends as much time as possible surfing with his partner, teaching people to surf, and dedicating his weekends to taking at-risk youth out for surfing experiences. Additionally, he is an avid supporter of Boston sports teams and follows the World Surf League closely.
